#TwentyAgain: Recap, Review, and Thoughts
Beberapa minggu lalu gue
pernah nulis di twitter, kalau gue bakalan. bener-bener. nulis tentang
#TwentyAgain di blog. And here I am.
Gue cinta banget sama drama
Korea. Hakhak.
Ini pertama kalinya, and
#TwentyAgain just deserve it. Gue pengen banget nyuruh semua orang nonton drama
ini, bahkan yang nggak suka drama sekalipun. Kenapa? #TwentyAgain is a simple story about a woman and her road to
self-discovery an uplifting, emotional journey. As a woman, as a wife, as a
mother.
Plus... This movie has.... HIM!!!!
PERFECT KAAAAAN <3

Singkat cerita, pemeran
kuliah, Kim Min-Soo.
No-Ra sama suaminya lagi
dalam proses mau cerai. Alasannya? Karena si suami bilang kalau mereka berdua
nggak bisa nyambung komunikasi, beda strata, because he is a professor in
college, and No-Ra just an uneducated housewife.
ketemu sama temen SMA nya dulu, and also her first love, Cha Hyun-Suk yang
nyenengin kaaan hoho), sampe akhirnya tau kalau suaminya, Woo-Cul selingkuh selama
The problems
in #TwentyAgain aren't huge or dramatic, it's just a realistic story that centered one person, Ha No-Ra. I love the character developments, from the first episode to the finale. She's growing in me.
Gue ikutan ketawa sama
nyokap gue sendiri di adegan No-Ra sama anaknya, everything in that story is
just well-putted in their own places.
Karena gue juga anaknya drama
abis, gue gampang banget kebawa suasana sama film, buku, apapun. And seeing
this movie, I learned a lot.

Yang nonton film ini, pasti
juga kzlll banget, why is Nora loving a guy like Woo-chul. But Woo-chul became
Nora’s entire universe at 18, and she has been living with thim for 20 years. Clearly
the idea of divorce terrified her.
But I love after she’s
experienced more of the real world, reassessed her life, found friends, and
reclaimed a little of her old self, she can see everything crystal clear,
understanding things with different perseptions, and eventually... dare to let
Woo-Chul go.
Apalagi waktu No-Ra ketemu sama Yi-Jin, selingkuhan suaminya dan bilang.......
COLD. EMOTIONLESS. YASSSSHH YOU GO GIRL!
Gue nangis bombay (IYE LEBAY
HAHA) setiap scene No-Ra dan Min-Soo. Hubungan ibu-anak ini yang menurut gue
paling riil dan ditemuin sama semua orang. Kita tuh kadang (bahkan sering) take
our mom for granted. Karena kita udah kebiasa, selama hidup diurusin sama
nyokap, kita jadi nggak ngehargain dan lupa sama jasa-jasa Beliau.
Dan setiap orang tua, nggak
ada yang mau ngebebanin anaknya. Karena itu, ada masalah seberat apapun, pasti
orang tua berusaha mendem sendirian, sementara kita sibuk sama dunia kita. We
left them alone, and lonely.
lupa sama mereka.
Jadi gue ikutan bahagia
jadi erat banget. It’s so heartwarming :”) Sekaligus jadi pengingat buat gue
sendiri. When we hit adulthood, we start to see
our parents in different view. We become understand how they feel.
She’s now confident enough to
choose herself over Woo-chul. And THAT puts the biggest smile on my face.
Apalagi pas Woo-Chul nyesel udah nyia-nyiain No-Ra, dan pengen balik lagi
(walaupun he’s just so full of himself until I can’t really hate him because he’s
sooooo..... stupid XD).
But you know, all
relationships grow too familiar and eventually get taken for granted. We just
got back to our senses IF we lost them. And if, that relationship breaks down
and lost, now gifts or belated efforts or deepest regrets will become...
meaningless. It’s all too late.
in it. So there will comes a time, when we need to take it off. When we have to
give it a rest, to re-discover ourself. Alone.
And if it
necessary, we have to move on too. To see what will wait for us in the future.
As cliche as it sounds, but everything will fall into its place, in the perfect
time.

Pada akhirnya,
it’s all happy ending. No-Ra nemuin dunia dan cinta baru sama Hyun-Suk (I
APOLOGIZE NOT TALKING MUCH ABOUT THIS GUY BUT THIS MR. DIMPLES IS THE BEST AND
THE CUTTEST PARTNER EVER YOU SHOULD WATCH IT YOURSELF).
Min-Soo berusaha nemuin
apa cita-citanya, as he’s only 20 years old so he’ll have much times to it. Bahkan
nggak tau kenapa gue ikutan seneng si Woo-Chul balik lagi ke selingkuhannya,
Yi-Jin. Hakhak. Well, they were together for 3 years so.... let them be. :’) They’re
clearly living in a different world than the rest of the cast.
For saying
goodbye to this show, is quite hard. I’m too attached to #TwentyAgain. But I
shall thank all the cast, the crews, THE WRITER, for giving us such a great
great lessons through amazing movie.
We don’t
have to go back and fix all the things we regret. The future is not determined by the past.
We just have to see ourself
clearly, and choose exactly what we want to be. Because we just have only one
life to live, so forge our own path and grab onto love we see it.
\
My rating for #TwentyAgain: 10/10. I urge everyone to watch it, immediately! Go go!
Until next time, Ha No-Ra and Cha Hyun-Suk. :'')))
